Course 18-404  Extracapsular Cataract Extraction Surgery: Endangered Procedure

Saturday, April 18, 2015: 3:00 PM-4:30 PM
Room 6E (San Diego Convention Center)

Course Description
Course will demonstrate extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) through large incisions and small incisions, which are routinely performed throughout the world. Understanding how to perform this surgery competently is crucial when faced with complications during phacoemulsification surgery, when involved with international ophthalmology, or when an ECCE approach might be a better choice for the patient.
