Narrative Responses:

Purpose
To evaluate the predictability, reproducibility, efficacy, reliability and the stability of this multifocal corneal laser treatment in presbyopic eyes depending of their defect.

Methods
Prospective study of the results in pseudoaccommodation, refraction, visual acuity corrected and uncorrected for far and near distance, residual defect, contrast sensitivity and stereopsis using the Visx Star S4 IR Custom Vue treatment with central and peripheral ablation profile with the new PresbV (Vejarano Method).

Results
Patients who received presbyopic treatment with Visx Star S4 IR since March 2009 using aberration modulation in the dominant eye and the latest multifocal double ablation profile central and peripheral - PresbV (Vejarano Method) for the non-dominant eye, with this always has very good far and near vision with low percentage of night complains, since the first day and the follow up goes in some patients until 2 years. Until now with new PresbV 240 eyes of 143 patients in hyperopes, 92 eyes of 50 patients in myopes and 43 emetropes with up to 3 years of follow-up.

Conclusion
This is a promising and less invasive procedure for presbyopia; generate enough independence of glasses for the most activities in the normal life of the patients.
