After a nucleus drop during hydrodissection of a mature cataract, the nucleus was brought into the anterior chamber using posterior-assisted levitation and chopsticks technique. The corneal tunnel was extended and converted to a corneoscleral tunnel. The nucleus was divided into 2 halves and each half was removed using the chopstick method. After vitrectomy, a single-piece PMMA IOL was inserted into the sulcus.
