Video will describe the advantages of the MICS technique in pseudoexfoliation. It will show a stable anterior chamber that facilitates pupil stretching. Cataract removal in light of poor pupil diltation and weak zonulare fibers is risky, but MICS offers the advantage of a closed system with stable fluidics that make cataract removal much safer. Finally, with a 2.2 mm incision the sutures are obviated in almost all cases and the induced astigmatism is minimal.  Visual recovery is fast.
