Video shows large asymmetric capsulorexis performed. Vigorous hydrodissection tilts lens so half rises above iris plane. Handpiece is placed under the tilted nucleus. A second instrument through an opposing paracentesis skewers the nucleus using counterpressure from the handpiece. The nucleus is easily divided into halves and smaller pieces and safely and easily aspirated with low energy away from the capsule. This method is ideal for soft lenses and avoids bowl sculpt.
