Narrative Responses:

Purpose
To compare curve analysis of ocular response analyzer (ORA) in 3 groups of patients: 1- involved eye of unilateral keratoconus (KCN); 2- fellow eye of unilateral keratoconus (FKCN); and 3- normal healthy cornea (NL).

Methods
In 36 patients with proved unilateral keratoconus (with topography) and 36 normal healthy controls; we performed Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA) and curve analysis. We compared values between 3 groups.

Results
There was significant difference between FKCN and NL groups in many variables of ORA, and There was significant difference between FKCN and KCN groups in some variables too.

Conclusion
Fellow eye of keratoconic patients has different hysteresis profile compared to normal cornea; so unilateral keratoconus may not be really unilateral.
