Video demonstrates surgical anterior capsulotomy to treat severe capsuer contraction syndrome 1 month after routine phacoemulsification surgery. It shows how the problems of a phimotic lens capsule obscuring the visual axis and a distorted capsular bag causing IOL decentration are fully resolved to yield a satisfactory visual result for the patient.
