A 30-year-old man with a history of myopic PRK was referred with a diagnosis of ectasia. Keratometry revealed inferotemporal steepening. Corneal corneal crosslinking was planned. After epithelial debridement, a 1.5 x 1.5 central island was foujnd. The centralisland was mechanically removed and photorefractive keratectomy performed. Postoperative keratometry revealed a regular cornea. Corrected distance visual acuity improved from 20/70 to 20/25.
