F48 Microinvasive Surgery in Treatment of Patients With Congenital Iris Coloboma and Cataract

We present the original technology of surgical treatment of patients with cataract, congenital coloboma of the iris and pupil ectopia, which consists of phacoemulsification with IOL implantation, closed irido- and pupilloplasty. Depending on the degree of ectopic pupil, a differentiated approach using a variety of techniques to achieve optimal intraoperative conditions and use of various techniques of  irido- and pupilloplasty for centration of pupil is presented.
