Narrative Responses:

Purpose
To analyse the visual outcomes and higher order aberrations on low moderate and high myopes who underwent myopic LASIK correction in our wavelight Refractive Suite.

Methods
Retrospective aberrational analysis on 250 eyes of myopes who came for Femto LASIK correction were evaluated preoperatively for the following parameters. Refraction, BCVA, Keratometry, Topography, Pentacam study, Topolyser & analyser. Flap parameters (thickness, dia, hinge length) and flap creation were calculated. Keratoconus patients and myopes >12D were excluded. All patients who satisfied the above criteria were included. Emmetropia was targeted for all patients.

Results
Postoperatively all patients were followed up after 1 month and two months were analysed. Flap thickness – actual vs predicted. UCVA compared between 3 groups. Induced HOA. Complications after the procedure. The difference between UCVA and flap thickness pre and post operatively shared statistically insignificant values.

Conclusion
The wavelight refractive suite consisting of FX200 and EX500 is the newest integrated refractive surgical platform available and can offer very good refractive predictability as shown by the result in our initial 250 myopic patients.
