Course Description
Course will present a refractive surgery case that went to trial. Plaintiffs focused on alleged record alterations, failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions, and signs of optic nerve damage. The defense pointed to the plaintiff’s noncompliance, Facebook photos, inconsistent testimony, and visual outcome. The format is a panel presentation and discussion.
