Course Description
Course will discuss how advances in technology, IOLs, phaco machines, femtolaser, and indications are making cataract surgery extremely similar to refractive surgery. Ideal results of cataract surgery is plano correction. Cataract surgeon must provide optimal vision quality. This requires accurate customization of IOL choice, obsessively accurate biometry, adoption of new technologies as microincision and premium IOLs (multifocal, toric, multifocal + toric, aspheric).
