Course Description
Course will analyze indications for surgery and various DALK techniques (Big Bubble, Air-Visco Bubble, manual dissection and new opening bubble technique). Complications and PK conversion discussed. Functional outcomes, endothelial cell count and long-term survival reported. Clinical cases and videos will show how to manage DALK complications (ruptures, excessive trephination, disparity between donor and recipient) and how to do lamellar surgery in diseases of the corneal stroma; keratoglobo, extreme ectasia, infections, descemetocele and all ocular surface diseases.
