Course Description
This course will review standard precautions, universal precautions, instrument cleaning and disinfection and sterilization processes and other aspects of infection control that affects the quality of care in the ophthalmic ASC.  Current deficiencies found in Medicare certification surveys will also be discussed, including the regulation behind each deficiency.
