Discussions will include recording the patient’s chief complaint and medical history, documenting all elements of the examination, assessing the  complexity of medical decision-making within an E/M service, and scoring the elements of an office visit. A number of vignettes are provided so attendees can test their skill in selecting an appropriate CPT code.

Learning Objectives
Attendee will identify various components of the medical record, its completeness, the reason for the visit, and select appropriate CPT codes based on the chart documentation.
