Synopsis & Educational Value
Course will discuss Keratoconus, a common and progressive disease that leads to corneal thinning, steapening, and irregular astigmatism.  Recent advances include the ability to diagnose this condition earlier and intervene to reduce the likelihood of progressing to corneal transplantation.  Additionally, recent discovery shows an association with other conditions including weight gain and obstructive sleep apnea.

Learning Objectives
Attendee will recognize keratoconus and associated co-morbidities and determine the role of surgical options in the management of more advanced keratoconus.
