Guest Speaker: Sen. Rand Paul, MD (R-KY)
Prior to serving in the Senate, Dr. Paul was a practicing ophthalmologist in Bowling Green, KY. He has been a leading voice in healthcare policy representing the physician’s perspective. He is also a co-sponsor of ASCRS•ASOA's priority legislation, which seeks to repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), to implement a viable Medicare private contracting option, and delay the implementation of ICD-10.
The session is open to all attendees of the 2014 ASCRS•ASOA Symposium and Congress in Boston, April 25-29. You must be registered for the conference to attend Sen. Paul's session. Badges will be required for entrance.
