Open Sky on the Sly : Penetrating Keratoplasty Made Safer By Not Having a Completely Open Chamber

Penetrating keratoplasty in which host cornea is partially excised, held in place by two areas of un-cut tissue deep in trephine bed 180 degrees apart. Donor graft is partially sutured over the host, residual tissue cut and host button removed, minimizing risk of hemorrhage and lens expulsion.
