Purpose
To evaluate visual, refractive and satisfaction outcomes of topography-guided LASIK for the correction myopic astigmatism with the customized aspheric treatment zone (CATz) algorithm.

Methods
Single-site prospective data were collected on 33 eyes from the US FDA study. Visual and refractive outcomes and patient satisfaction (all study sites) were compared preoperatively and at least 3 months postoperatively.

Results
Postoperatively, 90.9% of eyes had UCVA of 20/20 or better, 84.8% eyes had MRSE within ±0.50 D. Patients reported significantly fewer night driving and glare/halo symptoms postoperatively than preoperatively (P<0.05).

Conclusion
CATz treatment is safe and efficacious and reduces night driving and glare/halo symptoms.
