Smile for Me

The film describes the evolution and rationale of femtosecond-assisted SMILE (small incision lenticular extraction [keratomileusis]). We focus on the benefits of SMILE related to corneal biomechanics and ocular surface from basic science into clinical results. Current limitations and insights for future improvements are given.
