Purpose
To analyze the different techniques for corneal incisional surgery in comparison with intraocular ones to treat astigmatism.

Methods
It is described the different techniques both corneal and intraocular, analyzing pros and cons of each technique.

Results
The study proves that corneal normograms are currently more accurate, and regarding the intraocular surgery the contribution of new aberrometers to a perfect intraocular surgery and its results it is observed.

Conclusion
Intraocular surgery is much safer in results and with a high level of satisfaction for the patient.
