Tailored Stromal Expansion With Refractive Stromal Lenticule for Crosslinking the Ultrathin Ectatic Cornea

This video illustrates the placement of a refractive stromal lenticule of appropriate thickness (refractive power) to enhance the intraoperative stromal thickness in ultrathin ectatic corneas not amenable to standard de-epithelization techniques for collagen crosslinking. Lenticules are centered over the apex of the cone to ensure safe UV irradiation.
