In the absence of capsular support, IOL implantation is challenging to the surgeon. With the advent of Glued IOLs, the surgery has become relatively simple for anterior segment surgeons. Attention to detail (like creation of the scleral pocket, insertion of foldable multipiece lens, exteriorisation of the haptic) gives excellent results.
