Purpose
To report refractive results and visual recovery after femtosecond LASIK.

Methods
Retrospective study of 56 patients (112 eyes), submitted to refractive surgery, femtosecond LASIK, with the Wavelight refractive suite EX 500 excimer laser and FS 200 femtosecond laser (Alcon Laboratories, Inc).

Results
Femtosecond LASIK was done in both eyes (112 eyes) of 56 patients, 34 female and 22 male, patients were aged between 21 and 51 years old (30,6). The myopic mean spherical was -2.34D (-0.50; -8.50) the hyperopia mean 1.89 D (+0.50; +3.75) and the mean cylinder was -1.73 D (-0.50; -5.50) in preoperative, and postoperative was -0.8 SD and -0.0 CD. We had 3 eyes with minimal haze and 2 eyes with undercorrection.

Conclusion
The femtosecond LASIK suite is effective and safe in the treatment of refractive errors.
