Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery: Challenging Cases

Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (LCS) is a well tolerated and effective alternative to conventional phacoemulsification. Clinical indications have expanded, and the benefit of LCS in high-risk patients with complex cataracts is increasingly being considered. This video discusses our experience with LCS in challenging cases, such as: hard, white and traumatic cataracts, pseudoexfolition syndrome, intraoperative floppy iris syndrome and Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy.
