Course 19-311  Pitfalls of the Cataract Surgery Mentor

Course Description
Course will help practicing anterior segment surgeons who teach cataract surgery to residents.  The course will present techniques and strategies to facilitate the learning process for resident surgeons and to improve patient safety. Discussion will focus on wet lab utilization, coaching techniques and effective communication, management of surgical complications, strategies for teaching the challenging resident, and psychological aspects of surgical training.
