Course 19-106  Neodymium: YAG Laser Vitreolysis: Role of Anterior Segment Surgeons

Course Description
Neodymium: YAG laser vitreolysis, an old procedure that is starting a comeback with the new technologies of YAG laser spot size changes, new contact lens designs for examination, and a focus on vitreous floaters. Whether a vitreous floater is a real problem will also be discussed, as will whether anterior segment surgeons have a role in treating floaters as they treat posterior capsule opacification Nd: YAG capsulotomy.
