Course 21-103  Best of the Best: Advanced New Technologies in Cataract Surgery

Course Description
Course will discuss how advances in technology, IOLs, phaco machines, femtosecond laser,  and indications are making cataract surgery extremely similar to refractive surgery. Ideal result of cataract surgery is plano correction. Cataract surgeons must provide optimum vision quality. This requires accurate customization of IOL choice, obsessively accurate biometry, and adoption of new technologies such as microincision and premium IOLs (multifocal, toric, multifocal + toric, aspheric).
