Course Description
Course will review basic and advanced DSAEK techniques emphasizing proper patient selection and technique modifications for difficult cases such as one chamber eyes, anterior chamber intraocular lens, and those with pre-existing glaucoma tube shunt placement. The use of ultra-thin tissue will be emphasized. Patient selection and transitioning to DMEK will also be presented. Common complications and difficulties encountered in both techniques will be illustrated through the extensive use of video.
