Course Description
Course will discuss guidelines for the indications for DALK, case selection, and a literature review of the present body of knowledge. The effect of the Dua layer on surgery and present understanding will be elucidated. Surgical techniques to achieve optimum outcomes, overcome difficulties in the learning curve, and manage intraoperative and postoperative complication management will be demonstrated through video-assisted skill transfer. Optimizing postoperative outcomes after DALK will also be discussed.
