The World Cornea Congress includes a meeting of cornea and anterior segment specialists throughout the world. The meeting was held every 10 years and is now every 5 years since 2005. The meeting includes novel research and clinical applications for the diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases, ocular surface disease, eye banking and world health, and corneal refractive surgery.
The session will discuss highlights from this year’s World Cornea Congress with topics including corneal infections, new technologies, eye banking, ocular surface disease, selective lamellar corneal transplantation techniques, corneal refractive surgery, and corneal physiology and immunology.
