The 2015 HIT Symposium will focus on the future of the current Medicare/Medicaid quality reporting programs and the implementation of ICD-10. Now that the incentive payments for quality programs have been eliminated and practices are facing a reduction of almost 10% for not successfully participating, it is more important than ever that both practitioners and administrators have a good understanding of these initiatives. In addition, all practices must be sure they are able to successfully transition to ICD-10 on October 1, 2015.
The discussion will be set up to cover an overview of a different topic every 15 minutes. These topics will include: Tips on Patient Portal EHR Measures, Data Security, Planning for ICD-10, What’s Next in PQRS, and Meaningful Use Audits. The audience will have a chance to ask questions at the end of each segment. The final 15 minutes of the Symposium will include a presentation by McKinley Advisors discussing the results from the ASOA 2015 EHR Satisfaction Survey.
