Purpose
To evaluate outcomes in eyes implanted with the enVista (Bausch + Lomb) MX60 hydrophobic acrylic intraocular lens (IOL) during routine cataract surgery. The IOL has an aspheric, aberration-free optic made with glistenings-free material and was designed with step-vaulted haptics for stable intracapsular positioning and refractive predictability.

Methods
Prospective, multicenter (4 sites), open-label clinical trial. Eighty eyes were implanted with the enVista IOL during routine phacoemulsification cataract extraction and followed for 3 months. The main outcomes were refraction (manifest refraction spherical equivalent, MRSE), visual acuity, and safety.

Results
All eyes achieved postoperative MRSE within ±1.00 D of the target MRSE. Postoperative uncorrected visual acuity was 20/40 or better in all eyes. All safety endpoints were met, and no glistenings were reported at any time during the study.

Conclusion
The enVista MX60 IOL provides good visual acuity. The lens has excellent refractive predictability and an optimal safety profile.
