Narrative Responses:
Purpose
Purpose: To evaluate clinical outcomes in patients implanted with the enVista MX60 (Bausch +
Lomb) hydrophobic acrylic intraocular lens (IOL).
Methods
Methods: This was a prospective clinical trial. Twenty eyes were implanted with the IOL during
routine cataract surgery and followed for 3 months postoperative with evaluations of visual acuity, refraction (manifest refraction spherical equivalent, MRSE), and safety.
Results
Results: Postoperative MRSE was within ±1.00 D of target and uncorrected distance visual
acuity was 20/40 or better in all eyes. No glistenings were observed at any visit.
Conclusion
Conclusion: Implantation of the MX60 IOL during cataract surgery is safe and associated with
excellent visual outcomes.
