After a posterior capsule rupture was detected, the chamber was formed and the probe withdrawn. The nuclear segment was manoeuvred over the iris. A 3-piece foldable IOL was inserted with the lower haptic going into sulcus and the upper haptic over the iris. Segments were emulsified over IOL in the anterior chamber using low settings. Vitrectomy was performed and cortical matter removed from behind the IOL. The IOL can be maneuvered into the capsular bag or the sulcus.
