Endoilluminator was used to visualize the posterior capsule during PCCC, and will be shown this technique in the video. The 23-gauge endoilluminator is inserted into the anterior chamber through the side-port incision. Illumination of the posterior capsule with the endoilluminator improves visibility of posterior capsule during posterior capsulorhexis.  With this technique, posterior capsulorhexis can be performed more safely and effectively.
