Narrative Responses:

Purpose
Demonstrate types of ophthalmic surgery according to the patient's needs which are currently available in various techniques and combination combination to enhance and ensure better visual quality to patients according to their daily needs. Avoid dissatisfaction surgical results and postoperative visual complaints.

Methods
This was a retrospective observational study of a series of 3 cases (totaling 5 eyes) in which patients underwent three stages: cataract surgery in both eyes with monofocal lens implant , implant secondary refractive lens implanted in the groove Riparian and after 3 months residual correction with Laser - Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) in both eyes, with final results of visual acuity 20/20 eyes that underwent the technique.

Results
The patients in our study underwent combination of both techniques ( byoptics) with improvements according to the needs of each individual ( enhancement) . To undergo cataract extraction with implantation of monofocal , patients had to use other methods for presbyopia correction ( glasses or contact lenses - weighbridge ). After a period of time, had low visual acuity in eyes that underwent cataract surgery. It is proposed the realization of the implant secondary multifocal refractive lens in both eyes correction residual and subsequent 3 months following this procedure by LASIK. All procedures were performed uneventfully .

Conclusion
The ideal vision correction surgery is a challenge for the surgeon to resolve the visual demand. Should be cautious and know the technologies available for these procedures. This study demonstrates the confidence of the patient by the ophthalmologist doctor-patient relationship and the intersection of ophthalmologic specialties.
