Video demonstrates the first femtosecond laser-assisted phaco cataract procedure performed in the presence of a Raindrop near vision inlay (FDA investigational device). The patient developed cataract 3 years after inlay implantation. Cataract removal was achieved using a femtosecond laser (LenSx). The transparency and mechanism of action of the inlay allows this novel procedure to be performed without modifications.
