The purpose of this paper is to explain the surgical steps, to enable cataract surgeons to perform the critical step of capsulorhexis, in white cataracts, without the need for capsule staining dyes.

The surgical skill development and the essential tips and pearls required, to undertake this important step, will be explained in a video assisted manner.

The author has performed the critical step of capsulorhexis, in numerous cases, with ease and clinical precision, without using Trypan dye.

A surgeon willing to replicate the precise steps, as explained in the presentation, will be able to repeatedly perform capsulorhexis, in mature and white cataracts. This has tremendous economic and clinical significance, in high volume surgical settings, especially in developing countries.
