Purpose
To assess the visual outcome in a case of Bilateral Anterior Lenticonus managed by Phacoemulsification.

Methods
A young male presented to us with decreased vision and frequent change of glasses. On slit lamp examination, bilateral Anterior lenticonus was diagnosed. Kidney function test and Audiometry test confirmed it to be Alports syndrome. Preoperative keratometry and axial length measurements were done for Lens power calculation. A 2.2 mm clear corneal Phacoemulsification was done under topical anesthesia in both eyes with a gap of seven days. Patient was followed on first day, fifth day, and at one and six months.

Results
Patients preoperative UCVA was counting fingers at two meters in both the eyes. It improved significantly to 20/40 in in right eye and 20/20 in left eye at one month follow up and continued with same.

Conclusion
Correct diagnosis and meticulous preoperative work up with precise surgery with Phacoemulsification could restore vision in this young male.
