We explore the limits of femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery in challenging cases such as subluxated traumatic cataracts, corneal scars with iridocorneal adhesions, small pupils, phacomorphic glaucoma with shallow anterior chamber, creating a secondary capsulotomy in an aphakic eye with capsular remnants, and traumatic cataract with preexisting posterior capsular tear.
