Video Endoscopic Evaluation of the Posterior Segment in Patients With Corneal Opacification Being Considered for Keratoprostheses

Video will show the method of assessing potential visual function in eyes with severe anterior media opacities. We will cover our current algorithm, performing the examination and interpreting the results of intraocular video endoscopy. This may lead to better visual outcomes after keratoprosthesis surgery by excluding eyes that would otherwise not have visual gains from this significant and involved intervention.
