During the phacoemulsification procedure, the break of the posterior capsule will cause the most serious complications such as dropped nucleus, secondary glaucoma and retinal detachment. Preventing a tear of the posterior capsule is important in cataract surgery. After CCC and hydrodissection, we inject strong viscoelastic material between the posterior capsule and nucleus. This strong viscoelastic material can guard the posterior capsule during phacoemulsification.
