During the phaco learning curve, especially in residents, they fail to capture and retain the nucleus efficiently with the phaco tip and tend to go to the periphery, achieving greater risk for breaking the posterior capsule. This device manages to bring fragments to the center of the eye and thus achieving efficient and safe phacoemulsification, avoiding the need to capture the fragments to the periphery.
