Double-Needle Iris–IOL Fixation

Current techniques of iris-IOL suturing are technically challenging and frequently cause pupillary distortion.  Double needle iris-IOL fixation allows the surgeon to easily access the peripheral iris for more controlled suturing.  Smaller more peripherally placed sutures decrease the risk of pupillary distortion.  Additional pearls for iris-IOL fixation will be reviewed.
