Cataract in Keratoglobus: Hitches and Glitches

Cataract surgery in keratoglobus is unpredictable. Preoperative corneal astigmatism, effective lens position, IOL power calculation, scleral tunnel, manipulation through side ports, intraoperative corneal tear and cheese-wiring were glitches encountered and managed. The surgical hitches, glitches and their management in cataract surgery of a keratoglobus patient are outlined.
