F111 Epicapsular IOL Fixation: Novel Use of Pupillary Expansion Ring in Capsulotomy to Support a 3-Piece IOL

Epicapsular fixation of a 3-piece IOL using a pupillary expansion ring in the capsulotomy is demonstrated. This is an alternative to transscleral or iris IOL fixation when the anterior capsule is intact but the capsulotomy is too large to allow optic capture and zonular defects that rule out sulcus fixation.
