Intraoperative ASOCT (ZEISS Lumera 700 RESCAN) during cataract surgery gives us a better understanding of wound architecture, capsulorhexis performed with femtosecond (FS) and manually (MK). True posterior polar cataract and posterior sub capsular cataract can be distinguished. Depth during trenching and its end point can be assessed. We also found both FS and MK capsulorhexis had endothelial gaping and Descemet's membrane detachment after surgery. It can be used as research and teaching tool.
